About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for leading interior and exterior glazing projects from award through closeout. This role owns coordination, execution, and decision-making to ensure projects are properly scoped, accurately fabricated, well-coordinated in the fi eld, and delivered on schedule.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership of outcomes, not just coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Project Setup
● Prepare and review estimates for interior glass, mirrors, showers, storefronts, hardware, and specialty items
● Review contracts, drawings, addendums, and site conditions prior to kickoff
● Identify scope gaps, cost risks, and missing information early
● Set up complete project documentation (drawings, schedules, logs, correspondence)
Client, GC & Consultant Coordination
● Serve as the primary point of contact for GCs, architects, and owners
● Communicate schedules, progress, delays, and changes clearly and professionally
● Manage change orders, pricing adjustments, and scope negotiations
Technical & Fabrication Oversight
● Ensure drawings, measurements, and fi eld conditions align prior to fabrication
● Verify glass types, thicknesses, edgework, hardware, fi nishes, and mounting details
● Approve fabrication releases only when all technical details are confi rmed
Scheduling & Field Coordination
● Build and manage project schedules from measurement through installation
● Coordinate installer manpower and confi rm site readiness
● Conduct site visits as needed to verify conditions and resolve confl icts
Procurement & Materials Management
● Perform accurate takeoffs and approve purchase orders
● Track materials from order through delivery
● Inspect deliveries and address discrepancies immediately
Subcontractor & Compliance Management
● Source and manage subcontractors when required
● Review and verify subcontractor COIs for compliance with contract requirements
● Ensure all insurance and site requirements are met prior to work commencing
Project Controls & Closeout
● Track RFIs, change orders, deliveries, and punch lists
● Maintain clear documentation and logs throughout the project lifecycle
● Prepare closeout packages including warranties, manuals, and sign-offs

About the Role
The Estimator / Sales professional is responsible for managing the full bid-to-close process for commercial and residential glass projects. This role includes reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating vendor pricing, submitting proposals, and following up with clients through award.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands glass, glazing, and architectural metal scopes and can take ownership of the estimating and sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Takeoffs
● Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine the full scope of work
● Perform digital and manual quantity takeoffs for glass, glazing systems, and architectural metals
● Calculate material, labor, fabrication, and overhead costs to produce accurate and profitable bids
● Identify scope gaps, missing information, and potential installation risks during the bidding phase
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
● Request, review, and compare pricing from vendors, fabricators, and suppliers
● Negotiate pricing when needed to support competitive and profitable bids
● Maintain updated records of supplier pricing, labor rates, and bid history
Proposals & Sales Follow-Up
● Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals and scope letters
● Follow up on open proposals and manage client communication through award
● Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
● Support the sales process from initial estimate through awarded work
Project Handoff & Internal Coordination
● Coordinate with the Project Manager and field team for a smooth transition from estimating to execution
● Communicate project scope, pricing assumptions, exclusions, and key details clearly
● Manage multiple bids simultaneously under strict deadlines
Qualifications
● 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glass, glazing, or architectural metals
● Strong ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
● Technical knowledge of glazing systems, including storefronts, railings, canopies, partitions, framed systems, and frameless systems
● Proficiency with estimating or takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
● Advanced Excel skills and comfort building detailed bid sheets
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to manage competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
● Valid driver’s license required
Salary
$55,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
