HITN, the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, partnered with Aria Glass to enhance its Brooklyn Navy Yard headquarters with new commercial glass systems. As an active broadcast and administrative environment, the facility required durable, high-visibility glass installations that support daily operations while reinforcing HITN’s brand identity. Aria Glass delivered a complete package of interior glass partitions, office enclosures, and a fully automated sliding entrance system, all designed to improve circulation, privacy, and workspace clarity across a high-traffic studio environment.
Aria Glass installed a commercial-grade automatic sliding door system at HITN’s main reception, including tempered glass panels, aluminum framing, safety sensors, and HITN-branded vinyl film. Throughout the studio’s work areas, Aria Glass installed full-height framed glass partitions to create enclosed offices, production rooms, and meeting spaces using clear tempered glass. A glass enclosure was also constructed for HITN’s central conference room, incorporating aluminum framing, frosted privacy bands, and custom vinyl in HITN’s brand colors. In addition, Aria Glass applied frosted banding, patterned film, and HITN-branded graphic overlays on select glass panels to provide privacy and support the facility’s visual requirements.
The completed installation improves the functionality and user experience of HITN’s headquarters, creating a brighter, more connected environment tailored to the pace of media production. The automatic entrance supports secure and efficient access, while the interior glass systems introduce clarity, wayfinding, and a consistent architectural language across offices and meeting rooms.
These enhancements not only refine the workplace visually but also contribute to a more efficient built environment—one that supports collaboration, privacy, and the daily demands of a national broadcast organization.
