Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Aria Glass was selected for the glass railing restoration at Lincoln Center Theater's Claire Tow Theater, home to the LCT3 stage. Positioned atop Lincoln Center, this project involved the replacement of rooftop glass systems in one of New York City’s most institutionally significant venues. On the LCT3 Roof Terrace, we reinforced and refinished the building’s aging rooftop glass railing system. The work included structural welding, a new powder-coated finish, and the reinstallation of the metal top rail, ensuring compliance with updated code and alignment with the building’s design intent.
At the elevator shaft, we supplied and installed a custom Bendheim 504 Rough Cast™ glass panel, imported from Germany. This 7mm textured tempered glass was heat soak tested and mounted using exterior-grade waterproof filler and structural sealant, providing durability and performance in exposed rooftop conditions. This was a high-visibility glass panel replacement project in NYC where material quality and precision were critical.
This custom commercial glazing project in New York was delivered on time with minimal impact to ongoing theater operations. The result is a clean, updated glass system that aligns with Lincoln Center Theater’s architectural standards while ensuring long-term structural and visual performance.
