Long Island Residence
Aria Glass was engaged by Stokkers & Company to fabricate and install a comprehensive package of custom glass solutions for a private Long Island residence. The project included tailored glasswork across five bathrooms, a gym, a walk-in closet, and an expansive outdoor terrace, each requiring precise material coordination and detailing.
At the core of the scope were frameless shower enclosures, fabricated in Starphire low-iron tempered glass and paired with polished nickel hardware selected to align with the home's broader material palette. Additional features included a wall-to-wall mirror installation in the gym, a beveled mirror for the closet, and over 100 linear feet of recessed outdoor glass railing. Every system was custom-fit to its environment, with clean hardware transitions and subtle framing that reinforce the home’s architectural rhythm.
Throughout the residence, each installation was designed to provide clarity, consistency, and lasting performance. In the primary bathroom, pivot-mounted shower doors were paired with Waterworks Henry pull handles in polished nickel, while elsewhere in the home, CRL knobs, Baldwin Estate hardware, and acid-etched partitions offered variation without sacrificing cohesion.
The outdoor glass railings were fabricated in ½-inch Starphire tempered glass and mounted in a recessed aluminum base shoe using a wet-glazed structural method, delivering safety and minimal visual interruption. In more private zones, frameless shower systems and specialty mirrors were tailored to fit tight clearances, angled walls, and varied millwork conditions.
The result is a highly coordinated residential glass package that feels integrated rather than applied, supporting function while maintaining a light, consistent material presence across interior and exterior zones.
