66 Leonard Street Fitness Center
Client:DK Construction One Corp.
Location:New York, NY
Project type: Residential
Product:Mirrors
Status: Completed in 2026
Aria Glass completed a custom mirror installation for the fitness center at 66 Leonard Street in Tribeca, where reflective surfaces were integrated across the primary workout areas of the building’s residential amenity space. Set within an interior defined by exposed brick, structural columns, and industrial detailing, the installation was carefully aligned with the architecture of the room, allowing the mirrors to read as an extension of the space rather than an applied finish.
Within the strength training zones, wall mirrors were installed behind free weight racks, benches, and exercise equipment, supporting both the functional needs of the gym and the visual continuity of the interior. Along the east wall, the largest mirror assembly spans the primary workout area in a series of vertical panels framed with dark bronze aluminum L shaped extrusions. The panelization follows the rhythm of the surrounding brick and architectural openings, creating a continuous reflective surface across the length of the wall.
Additional mirror installations along the north and west walls extend this language throughout the room. Fabricated to fit the existing conditions of the fitness center, these mirrors capture the surrounding equipment, lighting, and brick structure, reinforcing the openness of the amenity space while preserving its industrial character. Together, the installations bring clarity, depth, and a more expansive visual field to the gym environment, supporting everyday use while remaining fully integrated with the architecture.
